Drews Run

Drew’s Run is an annual cross-country automotive rally that was founded in 2008 by Steve Nawrocki of BSaint Media.

Each year, automotive enthusiasts from around the world band together to drive thousands of miles from one city to another. It’s inaugural route was from Philadelphia to Miami, which was repeated again in 2009 after many of the participants voiced their interest in revisiting the 2400-mile trek up and down the East Coast. In 2010, the group decided to shorten the route, but add an extra day at the destination, the infamous “Tail Of The Dragon” in North Carolina.

The Drew’s Run rally was first organized by Steve Nawrocki as a realization of a close friend’s lifelong dream.

Steve’s good friend and fellow car enthusiast, Drew Spinelli, had spent years voicing his desire to participate in a cross country rally with a group of his close friends. Unfortunately, Drew lost a difficult and hard-fought battle with cancer at the age of 24 before he was able to make this cruise a reality. With Drew’s dream fresh in his mind, Steve decided to take the reigns and put together the first-ever Drew’s Run in an effort to garner awareness and raise money for Drew’s family. Each year since, the proceeds from Drew’s Run have been donated in Drew’s name to the American Cancer Society and the National Marrow Donor Program.

Steve’s goal each year has been to grow this event and help raise more money for these two important organizations.

In addition to helping out a great cause, Drew’s run has gained popularity for the amazing fun and great times that it has afforded all of its participants. It has been the experience of a lifetime for everyone who has chosen to be a part of it. Friendships have been made, great times have been had, and only time will tell what the future holds in store for the upcoming years!
